Artistic Review- BryanFarley.com

As a class assignment I had to review Bryan Farley's website. We had to review it before he changed to a new theme. It is a photo website with various photos Farley took. Overall the website is decent, it is certainly not bad but it could use improvements.

First, the website could use more words as in descriptions of the event or what took place. If you open up the websites homepage (http://www.bryanfarley.com/) you'll see that there are only pictures on it. It makes sense since it is a photo website, but it would be more appealing to add words and make the pictures a bit smaller. There is an introduction but having captions and descriptions would make it better.

Lastly, all of his pictures should be in the gallery, because it would make it easier to find the pictures you're looking for. I did not look using search to find the pictures I was looking for. Just look at the search page (http://www.bryanfarley.com/search-page). It doesn't look like it's simple to use and some people won't understand how to use it. Other than those faults the website is okay.

Camera Review

The Cannon EOS Rebel T3i has excellent video capabilities, image, and video quality. The T3i's controls are frustrating to operate and it's not fast. For the price it is a great choice but it is not top notch when it comes to image quality and shooting performance.

Composition w/ Photos

Our assignment was to take pictures using composition. We had to use Geometry. Here are the edited versions.

Yosemite and Photography

Mark Geistweite takes interesting pictures of Yosemite, this one is my favorite. If I were photographing Yosemite I would take a picture of the wildlife in their habitat. I would also like to take pictures like the one below.
